It hit me like a ton of bricks..
That tonight & this coming Friday will be the LAST time my nephew will be able to spend the night with me in a while since we still don't know when we'll, or me in most cases, will visit again. I leave for Seattle on the 25th because Sailor is coming home in just a few short weeks, or.. long in my eyes. ;) So anyways.. I'm savoring tonight & Friday night that he gets to stay with me because he has school through the week. I get to see him every day but him spending the night is totally different because we bond. We pop popcorn, drink sweet tea & watch kiddie movies on Netflix. Saturday is the last day I'll get to take him out - my treat. Movies, McDonald's, the park.. whatever. He wants to see a new movie that's out. We went to see Tangled a few weeks ago & it was adorable! I love kiddie movies. I'm gonna miss this little turd.

ReplyDeleteI kind of understand where you're coming from. I dreading the last day I get to spend with my little brother, Ayden. It's going to be heart breaking. Since we're friends on Facebook, I'm sure you see how close him and I are. I never though I'd have a bond with a five year old boy like I do him. I'll be thinking about you!
That's the movie I was thinking about! I couldn't think of it for nothing. LOL.
ReplyDeleteLyle, my nephew, will be 5 next month :( I won't get to be here for his birthday which I know he wishes I could but he'll get a big care package from me with tons of goodies :)
His mom & my brother have been together since last May & been married since November. He hasn't been in my life *that* long but it's long enough for me to really get attached to him.
